BCCP participates in the BIA project for improving the digital skills of employees in the industry.

The project, the implementation of which was launched by BIA, in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria, aims at Increasing the specific digital skills of the workforce in 16 economic activities/sub-activities under NACE.BG 2008.

The project "Ready for digital transformation in joint actions of the social partners for the development of the specific digital skills of the workforce in enterprises" is funded by the Operational Program "Human Resources Development 2014-2020", its total budget is BGN 2,028,390, and the implementation period is from 1 December 2021 to 30 June 2023.

The project will implement a set of interrelated activities, which include research of digital skills needs in each of the 16 economic activities, development of digital skills profiles for key positions, testing of current digital skills of the workforce through developed tools for assessment of competencies and curricula for non-formal learning for the development of specific digital skills. Among the activities included in the scope of the project is the training of over 500 employees for the development of specific digital skills according to the requirements of the respective profession/position.

• Manufacture of paints, varnishes and similar products, printing ink and mastics (code 20.3)
