ICCA, CIA and Cefic safety bulletins related to Covid 19

The International Council of Chemical Associations -ICCA and the British chemical association - CIA released safety bulletins related to the risks in restoring production of temporarily shut down chemical plants due to COVID 19 crisis .

The document of ICCA Be Smart: Safe Restart emphasizes the importance of the pre - start up safety review and outlines the main steps of the review.

The CIA Bulletin 'Recovery' Phase of production during a COVID-19 Pandemic  complements that of ICCA and draws attention to the role of site management to facilitate a structured approach to managing the main risks associated with the recovery of production .

The European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) disseminated brief information to its members - Returning to work in Covid 19 times,  on the practices of large corporations and national federations-members of Cefic to prevent the spread of COVID19 in the workplace. The newsletter contains general information about the coronavirus, employee protection rules, rules for relations with suppliers, contractors and customers, and external and internal communication. In general, the practices follow WHO recommendations and national health requirements in the field.
