The 2025 edition will be structured around the core principles of Responsible Care®, with a special category honouring the legacy of Jean Bélanger, the founder of Responsible Care®.  
This year, we will highlight projects and initiatives that exemplify the principles of the Responsible Care® Global Charter, showcasing a commitment to a safer and more sustainable future. Within this, two dedicated categories will honour National Associations and SMEs, as well as individuals who embody Responsible Care values in all aspects of their lives.

The Responsible Care® Awards 2025 will celebrate outstanding achievements across five key categories:
• Rethink operational excellence: corporate leadership culture
• Above and beyond boundaries: spreading Responsible Care® ethic across chemicals value and supply chains
• Responsible Care® in the artificial intelligence era : leading the change for sustainable future; cyber security awareness
• Caring about the smaller : National Associations and SMEs
• Living up to Responsible Care® founding father Jean Bélanger’s vision and ethic: recognising chemical leaders of the future’s engagement to help their communities  
A novelty for this year's special edition, is that we welcome new, innovative initiatives as well as previous projects—whether or not they have been submitted or awarded in the past. If your project has evolved, remains relevant, or continues to drive positive impact, we encourage you to apply.
