On May 17, 2017 the BCCI, with the assistance of Cefic, organized a conference on "Best practices of Bulgarian chemical companies in the initiative Responsible Care - peer review process and second-party verification."

The Bulgarian Chamber of Chemical Industry is part of the global initiative Responsible Care since 2004. More than 30 chemical companies, members of the Chamber, have received a certificate for the use of the Responsible Care LOGO and are committed to an Agreement for the continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental protection in production processes and manufactured products.

The purpose of the organized conference is to review what has been achieved for the continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental protection in the production processes and manufactured products in the individual companies and to share the best practices again. Mr. Francis LEVEQUE - Responsible Care Coordinator from Cefic took part in the conference.

The conference was held in Sofia, Forum Hotel, 41 Tsar Boris III Blvd.
